Xian: Sister City

In early June, shortly after our return from China, the annual Dragon Boat races were held on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.

Kansas City's sister city Xian sent a team of firemen to crew their race entry.

While at the races, I was reminded that there are two replicas of terra cotta warriors at the south entry to the pedestrian footbridge across the creek in the center of the Plaza. I have a new appreciation for them now!
